"Patchouli and Sandalwood" by LaBron showcase both the modest and down-to-earth scent of the smoky patchouli plant and the light wood of the Sandal tree, each native to India. Orange blossom and light white florals mingle with the patchouli and sandalwood giving this mysterious blend a modern updo. The very light white florals add just a hint of sweetness without overpowering the desired base notes of earthy Patchouli and Sandalwood.
"Patchouli and Sandalwood" by LaBron is an earthen mélange of scents easily worn for a daytime outing desired to continue well into the evening. It is a unisex, soulful and spiritual fragrance for those who find heavy florals too syrupy and vanilla too sweet.
Top Notes: Orange Blossom
Mid Notes: Light White Florals
Base Notes: Sandalwood, Patchouli
A side note from me, Deborah LaBron, the perfumer: I loved designing and working with this blend of "Patchouli and Sandalwood." I missed the single note patchouli phase of the '60s and '70s where patchouli was thought of as a "hippie" fragrance. Today, Patchouli is used in many beautiful perfumes. There is no synthetic substitute/chemical for patchouli oil, which increases its value and demand in the perfumery market. The perfume industry has used patchouli in a number of the world’s most beautiful perfumes, using the oil for its warm soul feeling and sensual, woody, voluptuous notes. Sandalwood is the second-most expensive wood in the world. Sandalwood oil produces a distinctive woody fragrance that has been highly valued for over 4000 years.
